“We ought to have Bernie Sanders on (the show),” says Mike Barnicle

“The coverage of (Democratic presidential candidate and Senator) Bernie Sanders is interesting because it almost always, right up at the top, mentions that he’s a socialist. But if you go to a Bernie Sanders rally, he’s not speaking to socialists. He’s speaking to American citizens and they are nodding their heads, buying 99% of what Bernie Sanders is saying . He has enormous crowds, enormous support, and the demographics skew very young. We ought to have him on (the show),” says Mike Barnicle on MSNBC’s Morning Joe of Sanders (D-VT). Watch the discussion on Sanders, followed by Mike’s conversation with the New York Times’ Jeremy Peters on changes in the Republican party that are sustaining Republican presidential candidate’s Donald Trump’s popularity.
