Mike and DeKalb County Chief of Police Dr. Cedric Alexander talk about the Ferguson police department’s use of military grade equipment to patrol nonviolent protests, and how the department’s excessively intimidating tactics will not be tolerated in the future. Mike says: “[We have seen] repeated pictures … of police officers armed like the 1st Airborne Division, aiming at crowds during the course of marches … from the top of armored personnel carriers. What do you do as a training officer for other police departments to prevent this from happening [again]?” Hear Dr. Alexander’s response here. On Morning Joe on MSNBC.
